so ya, appreciate any feedback for the youtube thingy. The movie on there was made pretty quick and it is only a test movie to see what i can do differently in the actual full one so anyone got any suggestions (Beside not having linkin park!)?

Thanks for the replies, yesh this is just a "Test" movie, i wanted to get feedback before i did anything else. See its just a 1 v 1 i did against a guy (FlyingLotus), it was actually like 40 rounds we did, but i just recorded like a few of the first 9 and scrapped this together in like an hour?

As for the story thing, I'll never do that, I dont like stories with gunz replays thats just my personal pref.

I didnt want to overdue it with the effects, your right i went very basic just slow mo a lil, a fade in, and a few blurs with speed up.

I just want to hear what people want to see in a movie, i mean I'm not big on tons of effects or story crap, but i want to make something entertaining to watch and basic at the same time.

I got really annoyed by the framerate and that you repeat the same footage 10 times at the start.

True. But if you look at it from a purely biast point of view, you'll see there isn't a lot there.

I'm not trying to be offensive, I'm just saying that compared to the majority of movies it needs a bit of work.

EDIT: Here's a scale I put together a while back, view if you want.

1) No effort
- A replay, no editing, no music.

2) Next to no effort
- A replay, possibly some editing, no music.
- Either an interesting replay or something new.

3) Minimal effort
- A replay/part story, some editing, possibly some music.
- Plot is sketchy at best, and told poorly.
- Music doesn't match up to the replay, it's just sort of background.

4) Small effort
- A frag movie/part story, fair editing, some music.
- Plot is fair but hard to keep up with.
- Music matches the movie in places, but is mostly background.

5) Average effort
- A frag movie/story, thought-out editing, some music.
- Plot is mildly interesting.
- Music is appropriate and matches up often.

6) A bit of effort
- A frag movie/story, interesting editing, good music.
- Same as previous.

7) Fair effort
- A music/frag video or story, quite good editing, good choice of music.
- Storyline is good, keeps attention.
- Film is well edited and put together
- Music matches the film well.

8) Good effort
- A worthwhile video, good editing, good music.
- Movie is enagaging and worth watching.
- Music matches up with video well, flowing with it.

9) Great effort
- A masterpiece video, great editing and music fits.
- Story is intense and makes you want to watch more.
- Music matches up almost perfectly and is very appropriate.

10) Intense effort
- A piece of God's Work, amazing editing and music choice.
- Storyline is abundant and engaging, makes you have to see more.
- Music matches perfectly and enhances the video.

right on esprite, well i figured some people wouldn't like that begining part.
Music is completely opinionatied and 1 persons taste maybe completely different then someone elses.


I actually liked the intro to the vid in all honesty, as for the framerate there is really nothing i can do about it besides getting a new processor and new grfx card which i dont have money to get.

The intro was suppose to make ya a lil dizzy and kinda makes your eyes move faster, then when it gets to the actual shooting or w/e your eyes are so use to seeing it fast that it kinda slows down everything without me having to put in slow mo. Thats really why i did that, but maybe it was a creative attempt but not executed well enough, yes?

its not that bad now, it get tricky in between yes but i mean its not like a total blur.

Thanks for comments anyways, I am looking for more people to suggest ways on how to make it better (outside of framerate).
