Song USED: E Nomine - Mitternatch I decided to go back to my old style of movie making, you'll notice, it's more similar to my Sparta/Strike movie. Not at all effect spammed. And you know what's funny? I like this way better than when I effect spam xd! I love you And enjoy. Let's hope this makes me a better competitor in this contest. Known appearances in the trailer. Myself Jpizle Asdfgghhj (heroics guy) Hotshot Lookin pandapwnage PoohBear/TeamUnicorn Keid (Mus,) Raradun Rest of people are Quest 2-3 people that I should thank for being the deathmatches/teamdeathmatches/extremeteamdeathmatches. Special thanks to: Jpizle, cause he's just so cool. And Divine Rose, for inspiring me to remake my trailzor. |

| Currently busy with GCE O' Levels | That was less than I expected, seriously. Better than a lot of the crap out there, but it lacks oomph. There are no "SHT MENG PRO" moments. The clips felt as if you were making a genuine effort to sync them and make them fit, but failed. Not that all clips have to have a "pro" moment at the end, but most of them do. Otherwise they have to fit in with the music (circumstantial), or flow into the next clip nicely. Many of the clips you used started off with a boring shot... and then continued into a boring shot. Let me give a few examples: A guy runs up stairway. Then he throws a massive. I know he's blasting the guy behind him, but the audience can't see that and the first time I watched I missed the guy behind him altogether. Then that guy with his guns pointing at the sky - I'm not even sure he fired a shot, and I can't see who he's aiming at. The few seconds you let the Healing Hands girl type a message messed up your pacing. It felt like a big blank moment. A dStyler in quest goes down Dungeon stairs... so...? No scenery or strife to admire. Two people standing and spamming bullets is totally unworthy of GunZ. Then that guy killing someone from the top of dungeon - again we can't see what he's shooting at. Then that long freecam shot flows into a short freecam shot, and then it goes back to normal clips abruptly. A long shot into a short shot is too awkward here. There was one part where you looked like the camera went into Goblin King's ass. A scene where a girl butterfly spams, butterfly spams, and butterfly spams... then kills someone with butterfly spam. Generally, your way of ending the trailer didn't work IMO. You moved the camera across the container with "Join Us" and "Axium Gun Knights" on it... then you moved it back. wut? Your trailer isn't something I'd label as bad, but it is definitely something I'd label as "could've been a lot better". Need more interesting clips and some appropriate pacing meng. |

| Gunzfactorian Postcount Demi-God | I put effects. It's effect spam. I don't put effects. It's plain. o well. I've given up trying to impress a while ago. This wasn't a frag movie, hence why there weren't just kills, just things like, dagger massives, lunges, rifle, machine gunning, DYING, wall climbing, etc. When you watch a trailer of a game, you don't just see KILL KILL KILL KILL KILL. That's a frag. But that's all. Edit. here is my dissect of your dissect. Quote:
a) Blue Screens at beginning b) First Mitternatch - Trailer starts without the GUNZ sign c) After that, the beats go in three. PUM PUM PUM, *switch clip* PUM PUM PUM *switch clip* e) Laughing = Lizard f) Some miss syncs, I agree g) Dstyler to DH h) Mitternatch = Spinning screen i) The turning and appearing of second DF j) The beat, I faded cause when I rewatched the clip was too long (the duel) k) GOBLIN kiNG l) WIN m) DBF chick > Text Quote:

| The One and Only | I'm with Nosedigger on the "Expected more" thing. With no offense meant of course, it's just that it was a very bland trailer. Though I would disagree that it looks like a frag, because frags have a much different way about them in my opinion. The music, first, did not suit Gunz very well in my opinion. I think many people would agree that Gunz is a very anime-ish game, and anime doesn't usually mix well with german techno. Techno is cool and all, but you want to find an action beat for something like this. Second, I don't think effects are your problem here. It's just that your trailer really didn't have much structure. The whole point of an advertisement is to suck people in and keep them interested until you finish delivering your sales pitch. That means you want to show some cool clips and then move on to the next feature. Advertise one thing at a time and show clips that capture the idea of what part of the game you're trying to advertise. You kind of just mentioned all the features at the end of the video. Overall it just kind of looked like a lot of random gameplay clips slapped together with no particular syncing or organization(I'm sure there was, I'm just saying there was nothing outstanding there). There didn't seem to be an intro, just a very large midsection with an ending. Anyway that's just my take on it. I feel it could have been better with just a little more planning on how to advertise the features and highlights of the game. |

| Currently busy with GCE O' Levels | I can tell you're not going to see my point and rebutting your rebuttals will be worse than useless, especially after you thought I was being arrogant on that other thread. So I'll just say that Paul summed what what I want to say very nicely, and that I didn't mean "pro" as in "skillful", I meant it as in "awesome". I really should avoid using the word "pro" around competitive players. |

| Citizen's 1,000 Post Avatar Contest Winner | I agree with nosedigger about the parts where we can barely or unable to see the people getting shot at. It's not like other people who watch this trailer understand what the purple symbol above the guy's head mean. And I really think that a GunZ Trailer should have the fast and furious adrenaline type of music. Well this is just from my point of view though, because I feel that the trailer has gotta make people think that GunZ is a fast-paced action game. And I don't know if it is just me, but I like it better with the gun sounds. ._. |
