| Former MAIET Staff Golden Gunzfactorian ![]() | Hello all GunZ fans, I must admit that it has a while since I posted an announcement last time. We, the MAIET team, has been working very hard to support ijji to provide you the best service. I know there has been quite a few problems at ijji GUNZ, but please understand that ijji GUNZ has only started recently and is still in Open Beta phase. They are doing better job than MAIET hosting iGUNZ don't you think? Well, what I would like to bring up today is the IP Filter Implementation. Within a week or so, we will put a country IP filter on ijji GUNZ. The Filter will not block most of you, but only Korean, Japanese, Brazilian, Filipino, and Indian users. Please do not make any false guesses out of this. The filter is to block out players from countries where they have their own publisher like Brazil. I repeat again: ONLY KOREA, JAPAN, BRAZIL, PHILIPPINES, AND INDIA WILL BE BLOCKED FROM IJJI GUNZ. ijji will make an official announcement about this sooner or later to give you more detailed information about this. By the way, the development of the new Quest Mode is almost finished. Some of it is already implemented on KGUNZ and it will soon be here, too. ijji GUNZ will have it within a month, so please be patient and do not bother dschang with this matter. ^_^; Thank you always for loving GunZ. I love you all, too. ^____________^ - Guntrix Last edited by _Zephyre_; 12-14-2006 at 04:46 AM. Reason: Fixed errors. |

| Gunzfactorian Patriot | Allow me to be the first to reply here: Good news it seems. But i ask this question in the name of many people: What will happen to igunz? Many people would like to stay in igunz(either because ijji gunz does not work properly for them or they do not want to lose their levels),are very angry at MAIET and are demanding an answer to this. Will igunz be fixed? Please answer. Last edited by Nathyrra; 12-14-2006 at 03:25 AM. |

| Hiding Inside Myself Super Moderator | I am talking here not as a moderator, but a concerned Pinoy player. Trix, Philippine Gunz is not yet out of the market, so I would find it unfair if you'd block us from Ijji Gunz. And if it is to be released, when are the possible dates? I'm not in dire need for Philippine Gunz, since I'm enjoying my stay in Ijji Gunz with my friends. Please Trix... T_T; |

On a more related note, I may not be affected by this IP block, but it seems unfair to the pinoy users as pGunZ or whatever it's going to be called has showed no signs of a release, yet. Are they expected to fall back to iGunZ, where the servers are poorly-maintained, hold only several dozen people, and lag frequently? If I recall correctly, the iGunZ servers are currently very unstable, with lots of hacks like mega powerlevel running free. Remember that a large and considerable portion of the GunZ community are from the Philippines, and if they have no service to retreat to(except iGunZ, which isn't very appealing at the moment), they might just be forced to leave. A loss of players and potential customers. | |

| Gunzfactorian Soldier | That's awesome news. Thank you Guntrix! The full version of Quest is going to be awesome!! That and blocking those IP's will reduce the chance in running into someone which lives far away, thus reducing lag over-all. |

| Hiding Inside Myself Super Moderator | Thanks Zeph and Turundo for your eager replies. I appreciated your concern. *bows* Please allow me to pour out my thoughts, as this announcement is still bugging me as of this posting... Out of the countries Trix mentioned, only the Philippines don't have its own local Gunz. Some of my online Pinoy friends asked me when will PGunz be released, but I can't give any concrete answer. Being a moderator doesn't give me all the information I need. And hell, some Pinoys don't even know that there is already an Ijji Gunz. And about IGunz... To tell the truth, there are quite alot of online games here in the country that -forgive me for what I'll say- are better than IGunz (not Ijji Gunz). But there are still a few of us dedicated to Gunz, and would remain loyal. Such a move will leave us no choice but to leave the game, the very game that we loved and enjoyed. December last year, a lot of Pinoys moved out of Gunz after the Locust Plague and the yearend downtime. And now, the few remaining players will also be out of the Gunz map. I guess history does repeat itself. =[ |

| [zeh-fahyuhr] Resigned Super Moderator Golden Gunzfactorian ![]() | There is no mistake. pGunZ has been announced, so it probably has a publisher. It's also not helping the way the pleas of the players to know about the future of iGunZ is ignored. |

| Gunzfactorian Guardian | I am seriously dissapointed that the supporters for IP blocks have won this battle. I know the reason for the current IP blocks is so that Kgunz, BrGunz, KGunz, and InGunz dont loose their costumers, but why is that much of a problem? If your issue is money, wouldn't you still recieve cash from when they buy preiums from ijji gunz? Whats next, all americans will be banned from all the other gunz too? I definitely think this move was uncalled for, not only are you hurting yourself as your will definitely loose some costumers from this, but you are also hurting countless players from brasil gunz who came to ijji cuz lvl up had the balls to make gunz pay to play. So much for this quote on gunzonline.com: Quote:
For those who are celebrating this IP block, i hope you realize that america is next to be banned from all other versions of the game. Meaning all you guys out there with premiums on your K or J gunz could loose them. Think about that before you celebrate. All those who support IP blocks are just selfish and conceited people who could care less about the hundreds or thousands of foriener who enjoy the game just as much as you do. So in order for you to reduce your average ping but 20-50 measily points, you would rather have every other nation unable to play. Learn to leadshot for crying out loud, has Igunz taught you nothing? | Former MAIET Staff Golden Gunzfactorian ![]() | There will be a change in iGUNZ, obviously not full version but yeah. iGUNZ will still be in open beta phase. Please don't expect too much out of this. As for Philippinos, they will have their own version soon. Yes. There already is a publisher for it. |
