Photoshop Tutorial for Fullscreen Crosshairs

Making a fullscreen in photoshop (probably works in the same way with GIMP and PSP)

1. Get a screenshot of the game in 800 x 600

2. In photoshop paste this into a new document 800 x 600

3.Press Ctrl + R of you don't have your rulers out already. Now pick the slect the Move tool(V)

4. Click and drag the left ruler and take the guide to 400px
Do the same with the top and take it to 300px

5. Get the pen tool out and start drawing around the GunZ interface.

6. Right click on that layer and click rasterize. Then click on the eye to make it invisible.
Get the Polygon lasoo tool(L) out.

7. Lasoo around the HP bar, click on your invisible layer and clear it.
Do the same with the AP bar, and then the exp bar.

8. Add a stroke around your layer by going to layer styles and adding a stroke. 1px black works

best for me

9. Do this to the Gunz logo etc and change it to your style!

10. Now to make the actual crosshair. This is up to you! GO WACKO!
Use the guides to center it and make sure it aims correctly

Too see the final products just check out any of my fulscreen crosshairs.

Heh.. I'm a GIMPer all the way.. you know.. those guys who actually make there own Script-Fu's.. lol. Thanks for this though. I had my base for fullscreens, but it was primitive to say the least. This should help me make a better one.

But i'll stick to normal crosshairs though, I find making full screen crosshairs confusing.
