Default Tutorial: Tech Crosshairs in Photoshop

alright instead of making a new crosshair, this time ill show you a quick and easy way to make a cool looking tech crosshair that anyone can do and it requires no experience at all in my opinion

first start or with a page with theese settings

then grab the rectangular marquee tool

make a basic design stretching across the page with the marquee tool i got something like this

fill it with a color of your choosing

now go to filter > distort > polar coodinates

this is what my result was

then make sure the crosshair is centered it should be already but check anyway

and if you want you can add a pinpoint to it

have fun customizizing it and changing however you feel my end result was this and i didnt change anything except the dot

credits for this goto me for wrtting it and getting the immages
adobe: for creating photoshop
good-tutorials.com: for providing me with photoshop tutorials to develope this and showing how the polar coordinate feature works
and gunzfactor.com: for being a great community and a place to host this

please post your results you got from this i would love to see them you will get a different result everytime

- I was quite suprised by the amount of people this tutorial helped and I glad it did help, below are some people who used this tutorial in some way -

I'm trying this, but I have no idea how to use the marquee tool. Everytime I try to do a second box my first one disappears =/ help?

Edit: Nevermind, it's amazing what a bit of searching can do.

Ducky,
I wish my grass was emo, then it would cut itself.
