| Gunzfactor Crosshair Creator | ![]() its been awhile since i have made a crosshair and i decided to try something new since normally i drawn my crosshairs pixel by pixel it can become very time consuming and the end result is not the best it can be so i tryed using a different program to make the initial design a program called Adobe Illustrator CS2 using the pen tool in illustrator i made the Sundial crosshair and in fact it did turn out looking better than the ones ive made before after the initial design was done i then imported my immage from illustrator to Adobe Photoshop CS2. in photoshop i could add the gradient effect reduce the size of the crosshair and i could center it in the middle easier overall i think it came out looking pretty nice and the smart object feature did help alot in shrinking it. a new thing i tried with the gradients is not only the color changing but the gradient reverses itself when you lock on. I would recomend illustrator as a crosshair making program and its very easy to have a transparent background becuase you start with a transparent background. i hope you enjoy my Sundial crosshair and in the future i will be using illustrator alot more ![]() also i think this would make a better shotgun corsshair than anything but im sure alot of other weapons would work - update 1/3/07 - sorry that people were unable to download it somehow the file was lost and since I did not have the file myself I remmade it sorry for the inconvience and I hope this helps. | Member | I tried it out last night it was a bit big for my revs but with shotty it worked great I switched to the angelic crosshair type 1 to see how it would do and it did great for pistols and did well enough for shotty...great crosshair a friend of mine added recoil to it and he uses it now. ![]() |
