tried makeing a crosshair with ms paint

And it worked, kinda. There was a blue right-side up cross for regular, and a red upside-down cross for shooting (_pick) but there was this white box around it. how do i make it like everyone elses?
and yes i know about the stickies

Ok... I took pics of CROSSHAIR.png and CROSSHAIR_PICK.png in action, and the crosshair files themselves for you to test @ home if you want to.

The crosshair is useless without transparency. But, good idea with the design.

Tried imjustdownloadin's guide to transparence before I made this but i got the error while uploading miltiple times, so is there a free program I can use to make it transparent?

try GIMP at Gimp.org...theres a few guides here as stickies as well...so check that out

I went to gimp.org > GIMP for windows > Automated Installer > This page cannot be displayed.
so I tried gimp.org > downloads > ftp://ftp.gimp.org/pub/gimp/v2.2/ > gimp-2.2.0.tar.bz2
I read around the site and it said it needed a compiler. WTFF?
edit: if anyone could take my crosshair and transparentize it for me... well I cant do anything in return but I would <3 you until I die

I would also like to point out that yes, I am a relegious person (christianity) and this crosshair is based on just that. Blue rightside-up cross for when you're not aiming at someone, and red upside-down crosshair for aiming at someone (one of the evil marks - murder = sin)

Edit: I would appriciate it if someone is going to to transparency on this, use version 2:
