Crosshair "Lock"... useless?

This is my opinion, but I think the crosshair's lock-on red is really annoying and hinders my aiming. The majority of the people in GunZ lag, and so I have to do some serious leadshotting. But the lock-on red misguides me, I shoot when it's red and I shoot into air. But that's me, I would like to know if it was hindering you guys too. I don't know how to make it unaimed. I'm a super duper crosshair noob.

when u use a custom crosshair set the unaimed one to Crosshair and Crosshair_pick(as in have 2 copies of the same crosshair, just with diff names) in your crosshair folder and the customs will not change when aimed at someone.if you dont know how to put a custom in your custom crosshairs folder read the forum sticky threads and youl find out

in the case of default crosshairs use #1

Yeah, I hate using a pick crosshair also.

Thats why I just put "Crosshair.png" in the folder.

Edit: hmm, this thread is pretty useless.
