| Gunzfactor Crosshair Creator | Well, if some of you can't get t3h 'Photoshop' and too lazy to download t3h 'Gimp' then download Paint.NET EDIT : Version 3.0 BETA is released... i suggest you download it as it has gradient tool...Paint.NET3.0 btw, photoshop is more user friendly ![]() Starting Make a new document(File>New)with any size you want(I'll take 33 x 33) Now, at the layer pallete untick the checkbox at the Background Layer to make it transparent ![]() Creating the basics of a crosshair Create a new layer and with the line tool,(set the brush width to 1 pixel)drawthe first line from top left corner to bottom right corner and for the second line from top right corner to bottom left corner and this is what you should have.(Zoom In if you have trouble drawing the line) ![]() There you have your middle point, so now create a new layer and make a dot where the middle is with the pencil tool and untick the checkbox at Layer 2(the layer with the X) you can also the delete that layer Creating the crosshair Pick any colour you want from the colour pallete(optional) and then make your crosshair, if you want smooth circles, squares, etc. click on Anti Aliasing ![]() If you want just an outline(stroke) of a shape, take one of the tools square,circle, etc and click on this button ![]() Saving After creating your crosshair goto File>Save As and change the File Type to .png with the name crosshair(normal) and crosshair_pick(aimed) Tips : Hold shift while using the eliptical or rectangular marquee tool to get perfect circles , squares There is no gradient tool in this version , but ver 3.0 have gradient tool which is releasing in the end of 2006 This is the end of the tutorial, hope this tutorial helps those begineers ![]() Crosshairs made with Paint.NET LawL...... trust me u can make crosshairs like these in paint.net but of course i suggest ps Normal ![]() Aimed ![]() Last edited by RebournE; 10-25-2006 at 11:10 AM. |

and it's a format u haffta change the format to '.png' to change it... open the blahblah.pdn save as and under the name of the picture change the format to '.png' hoped i helped ![]() | |
