Just select it all in one go or hold down the Shift key while selecting stuff (that way, the new "rectangle" gets added to the old "rectangle" instead of replacing it). Also you can create a new layer by going to the Layer menu and selecting "New Layer" or something. I believe the shortcut is Ctrl-Shift-n. |

| Gunzfactorian | Ok - Here it is. I've been using PS for 2 days... If you can't figgure it out - Delete the program. 1. Create a New File... ![]() 2. Set the size to 80x80 pixels (Yours will not say 'crosshair') Click OK and the New File is created - ![]() 3. Increase your work space by click the bottom right corner and dragging 4. Select the ZOOM TOOL on your TOOLBAR ![]() Click on the empty picture several times - It will look like this ![]() 5. Nope - No step 5. (bathroom break or something) 6. Select your Rectangular MARQUEE Tool, and create random designs across your canvas. (To create multiple selections hold down Shift while draging your mouse) It should look something like this - ![]() 7. Change your foreground color to the color of your choice (Forground color can be changed by left clicking the top of the two colored boxes in your color menu. This can be located on the right side of your screen appox. 1/4 down from the top of your screen......) Then Choose Your Paint Bucket - ![]() 8. Next, Left-click WITHIN the selected areas that you have created. It will create this effect - ![]() 9. Press Ctrl+D to Deselect the selection. It will no longer have the dotted edges.... 10. Once again - No words needed - ![]() 11. Click OK (Don't change anything) And this will be your end result - ![]() Last edited by thormjolner; 10-08-2006 at 05:34 AM. |
