Windows Vista Crosshairs Not Working

Hi, I cant get custom crosshairs on vista,mi have to go My computer OS_install C:\ (summat like that) /ijji/english/gunz/CUSTOM/CROSSHAIR ive put the one in but when i laod gunz it dsent work. it is called
crosshair_pick Ive tried it with .png aswell at no matter what it wont work. Anyone got vista and can explain? and i hav closed gunz and re-opened it everytime i changed it and it still dosent show up custom.. Pleaseee help :')

Im using vista ultimate and i got it the same way like you.

C://ijji/english/gunz/CUSTOM/CROSSHAIR/crosshair.png and crosshair_pick.png

works fine for me.
