Default Making GIFs from stuff

How can you take things like avi's or something and make gif's from them?

Take your image sequence
Split it into separate frames
Save as TAGRAs or JPGs
Open as frames in Imageready (assuming you have using photoshop and Imageready to begin with)
Tween the time between each frame.
Add a border
Compress the image to >50kbs and save as .gif.

Basic process in a nutshell.

Try to use a .gif animator such as the old microsoft one or even illustrator.
