If I wanted to make a .gif, converted from a fraps recording (lol... yeah... like I can do that as it is) What sort of program would I use? I already know of animation studios, which is basically an overpriced .gif editor...

Any help?

Do it MANually. Hit F12 70x while watching a recording!

It will probably end up choppy due to the gaps between screenshots. Fraps, on the other hand, may allow for instant screenshots.

Download Windows Movie Maker (In gunz movie section (sticky)).

Add the fraps video to movie maker.

Save as gif?

I wanted to make an animated sig out of what I have right now in my sig. I wanted to record me rolling across the screen, freeze framing in mid roll, flash my name on the screen with some sorta effects with it, then continue the roll off the screen. Then loop it so that it just keeps looking like I rolled across the screen.

Actually, you wanna do it? Same size as the one we have now. No special effects except the name.

I can give you the replay.

You could always edit it in WMM then save it as an AVI.

Then convert it with: Avi to Gif
