| Gunzfactorian Hero | you can find very useful information on google. Or collegeboard's myroad section. In general: -Graphics designers work as much as they feel like, as many of them work from home and work on a commission basis. -Benefits: Graphics designers get to work whenever they feel like it, much of the time at home. You get access to a bunch of useful graphics editing software. Unless if you work for a company, then things change. Or something like that from what I recall. Of course, only use this information (it's from vague memories of stuff I read a year ago) as a last resort (if it's useful at all LOL). If nothing else, give them bullcrap and they won't be able to tell the difference as long as you don't put anything ridiculous in it. |

"Working hours depend on the place of employment. Designers who work for large companies or design firms usually work regular hours—around 8 hours a day. Freelance graphic designers usually have more irregular job schedules, and often work longer hours. If an important deadline is approaching, graphic designers might work for up to 15 hours a day. Evening and weekend work is also common in such circumstances. " Your second question is kind of stupid because I think that they wouldn't have any benefits at all. Well of course it varies from company to company so you wouldn't know. Hope this is enough proof and help! | |

| Newbie | You found one. I make sigs, websites, emblems, avatars, renders, banners, and more for people/sites/companies. Im not the best, but I can fullfill most requests right on. Basically, they work until they have the requests and orders completed. So, if they finish that days work in 5 hours, its a 5 hour day. 8 hours, its an 8 hour day. I try to get 10-15 done a day, if i have that many on that day. Benefits, heh, none, besides ability to do art work... Thats just how i've experianced things. Again, I'm not a big league, but I do work for some companies. |

| Gunzfactorian Commando | anyways... it depends on the company... for say you worked for Cartoon Network.... then you would probaly work 24/7 cuz everyone knows that CN changes their website GFX like once every month..... Benefits also depend on the Company..... if ur a Freelancer... like for a newspaper... then u have almost no benefits... it all depends on the company. ![]() |
