(except without the scanlines)

hmm they look ok....ill stick with mine

hmm u cud do it with

copy layer
filters/gaussian blur.....set to 3.0
blending type to screen....or set opacity down

Color dodge would also accomplsih about the same thing I think.

Nope not even close. That just gives it a light glow.
Thanks for all the comments, and for the guy that wanted snow town, I think they removed the map from the game.

You could have adjusted the hue/saturation of one of the layers (or adjust levels?) as well as done all that other stuff

When I finished them I usually had like 6-7 layers.
