I like effects. they fit the picture. Not sure about the colour of the banner, but I suppose the text isn't too bad. 8.5/10 ^^

Yeah, its too... I don't know, the part with the text, it ruins the image.

Make the background of the banner a different color, maybe selected from the sig itself. Then, set its opacity down some.
