Default Traditional art.

Does anyone actually draw and paint on these boards?

I know I do, here's my DA; post yours or pics if you've got some drawings and paintings to show.

Thanks

Aghh unfortunately it doesn't look like that any more.

Although it breaks my heart to do it, I have to listen to what my art teacher tells me to do or else I get ****ty marks.

He's such a douchebag; he made me knock out all of the stuff on either side of the face and make it solid white. Now he wants me to put some faggoty pattern in the back of it.

I'm going to have to make others good thing I have a stencil for that face.
The process is pretty linear and I know what I need to do. It's just frustrating, the thing was turning out so well :{

He is a douchebag.

Just remember what they said about Picasso. This is an attempt at mimicking realism, it can be whatever you want it to be.

Well, I'm a buyer. I bookmarked your DA and I'll check it every once in a while. If I see something I really want, I'll hit you up for it.

Thanks for the advice :}

Sounds good, I'm going to be going to university next year so I'll probably be looking to make some money on the side any way possible :P

And the quality will just keep improving hopefully.

prof is dishonorable.

Default Re: Traditional art.

As many times as I've taken Art in school, I've never understood this style. To me, it's just thick paint covering a face(in other words, I can't say I like it a whole lot). It's upon on of the most famous styles, yet I can't say I enjoy looking at it.

Somebody explain art to me?

The paint isn't really that thick on those at all, mostly it's just many transparent layers piled up.
