Default So I think I need some photoshop experts here.

More specifically, ones familiar with the usage of Alpha channels and .dds's, now there is a way (when editing an image you are going to put on a model) to make certain parts of the texture transparent when saved so that when it is applied to the model some parts don't show up. I'm using the photoshop .dds plugin and when the save window pops up I'm offered several options, inculding the number of Mip maps I want to use and well these options:

So, what I was wondering is how I should save the image so that when I apply it to a model some parts of texture will become transparent. Or what I should do to make this happen.
