| Member | Prologue One day, Luke’s house blew up. During this event, Luke’s parents and siblings were killed. He was the lone survivor. This act was committed by the notorious Cat clan, led by the notorious Big Cat. Luke swore to avenge his parents and siblings. Chapter 1 A lone bullet whizzes past my face. Pulling out my dual pistols out of my shoulder holster, I swung in a 180 degree angle and dived for the nearest cover. So the little bastard finally had the guts to come out and fight. I stuck my head out and made a quick scan of the situation I was in. He was probably in the third level trying to get a clear shot at my head. Right then I saw him and the corpse of his cronies. The limp body was holding a rifle with a scope. As I dived forward toward the body, I saw and felt a hail of bullets fly past me. I grabbed the rifle and as soon as I hit the floor, I rolled backwards and fired three shots at the lone sniper. Ping, Ping. The sound of bullets ricocheting off the walls startled me. But where was the third? As soon as I stood up I saw the effect of the third bullet. I could see the blood dripping from the headless corpse of the sniper, half hanging on the chandeliers of this once beautiful, grand, majestic, mansion. I shot the chandelier down with a single bullet. I searched the man for what I wanted, the glass statue of a cat. I took the guns and the clothes in hopes of earning a few dollars off of these items. Getting all that I wanted, I closed the doors of this God forsaken place and headed home. Reaching the local police department I dropped off the fourteen cat figures and received my bounty. Nowadays, there are less police officers, the country relied primarily on bounty hunters to kill the enemies of the nation. Also, with the Cat clan in its prime, the bounty given for each one killed made bounty hunting a very profitable trade. As for me, there is another reason for my work. My parents and my siblings. Fifteen years may seem like a long time for many but when you suffer through a tragedy like the one I was put through, you’ll remember it forever. Chapter 2 As I reached my one room apartment, I went into my vault of weapons and deposited my two pistols and the rifle I picked up during the hunt. I tossed in a couple sugary candies in my mouth, one man’s candy one man’s drug. As I lay down on the couch, heard a buzzing noise coming from across the street. I felt a rumble and I ran to my weapons safe. I grabbed my two pistols and strapped them on, pulled out my state of the art Civilian AUG equipped with a night vision lens and silencer and strapped it to my back, and finally I opened a titanium case containing my dual swords made of a special Kevlar mix which was able to deflect bullets. After equipping a few grenades and other essentials, I heard footsteps on the stairs. There was only one way out from this room. I took out a sword and waited. When I heard people outside, stuck my sword through the wall, feeling the blade cut through flesh and bone alike. I pulled out my pistol and fired four shots through the hole in the door my sword had made. I knocked down the door down with the butt of my gun and sheathed my sword while simultaneously unpinning a fragmentation grenade and threw it down the stairs. I heard a deafening boom and pulling out my AUG, I rushed out the door running and jumping from wall to wall down the stairway, filling anybody still alive with lead. When I reached the lobby of the apartment, all hell had broken loose. Countless bodies were lying on the floor. Many were women and children. In the midst of the chaos, one figure stood out, a tall English man carrying three sheathed rapiers and wearing a Yankees baseball hat. He saw me and approached. As he came he began to run unsheathing all threes swords almost simultaneously, he caught one in his mouth and began to slash and kill all those who were in his way. I had no way I could shoot a bullet through the thick crowd. So I holstered the two guns and pulled out my own swords. Now the crowd began to get the message and they left the lobby, running and screaming. He ran toward me, screaming his battle cry. This was too easy. His whole body was left unprotected. I stepped into his slash, using the momentum of the step to swing both swords in an uppercut. The sword ripped through him like a hot knife on butter. I didn’t even have to turn around. He was dead. I sheathed my swords and pulled out my rifle. And just in case I took the shotgun in the tall man’s trench coat. I dived out of the door. Immediately, bullets whizzed past me. Firing bursts of bullets enemies fell. “One, two, three, four, five………” I muttered The click of an empty magazine told me it was time to look for cover. I dash behind a planter. Sticking the head of the shotgun out and I fired two shots at the car nearest to me. The car blew and four men went flying. Finding Big Cat, I aimed a single shot at his body guard, the last remaining man other than Big Cat himself. A fountain of blood came out from the place where his head used to be. I walked towards Big Cat, both swords unsheathed ready for any unseen snipers. Big Cat stood up. He was holding a single revolver. I asked “What are you going to do now, Cat?” He cocks his gun and he fires, but before the bullet even leaves its barrel I had cut the gun in half. I take out a small handgun. A gun with only a bullet left in it. The gun my father tried to defend our family with, the gun he died with. Justice will now be served. As the final bullet of the gun left the barrel and entered the skull, nothing in the world mattered anymore. For I have avenged my family, fulfilled my oath and now I was free of my conscience. Was it ok? plz tell me what u think.... and if u have any ideas for next chapters plz suggest them ill be sure to check it out and see if i can work it into the storyline!!! B) |
