| Banned | Cold drops of water spilled on top of Diamons's eyes. He blinked quickly several times and opened his eyes. There sat Sevinta, holding a mace in her hands. Diamons quickly sat up, and looked around. They were in a log cabin, with a rich and hearty fire lighting up the whole wooden room. A sudden low rage filled Diamons. He gave a low mutter, and with rage, got up and grabbed his sword. He turned around to look at Sevinta, and said, "I'll be back...". He quickly opened the door and flung it closed with a force to be recognized. Diamons then slowly stared at his surroundings. They were in the woods, beside a lake. They were on the opposite side of the lake. Staring into the distance, Diamons recognized the outline of a lighthouse. He quickly ran along the shoreline, never letting his eyes off of the lighthouse. Rage burned through him, coursing throughout his veins. This was the last time he was going to lose to Lacoste. As he became parallel with the lighthouse, a strange energy came through him. Rage became a motivation for him. He felt as if he could soar, and he placed his eyes on the middle of the lake and leaped. His jump was powerful and low. In a couple of seconds, he was standing inside of the lighthouse. It was a dark gloomy place, with a single spiral staircase which sprang all the way to the top. Diamons sighed and started walking up the steps, but a sudden flash caught his eye. He turned around and stared at a metal sword, shaped like the ones used for the casual use. It seemed to be made of iron and seemed quite heavy, equaling it's strength. Diamons walked over to it and picked it up. It sparkled in the dim light. It had a strange balance to it, and Diamons immediately flung aside his wooden sword. This was his new blade. Turning around, Diamons started walking up the stairs. Every turn of the staircase was a small window, haloed by a small torch. It seemed erie, and without surprise, Diamons lashed out his sword behind him, eyes closed. A goblin lay slain on the floor, the purplish blood dripping by the second. He looked upward to see dozens more of the tiny critters. But Diamons felt no fear. His new sword could kill them all in a flash. Without further hesitation, Diamons charged, slashing in front of him. Goblins flew into the air and died, blood pouring from their skulls, filling the stairs with a musky smell. Diamons was ruthless, not once giving a damn of how many he was slaying. He slashed, kicked, punched, blocked. They all fell to the floor under Diamons's wrath. At long last, the lighthouse stairs became silent except for the howling winds. Diamons walked up the remainder of the stairs, sword out. He didn't know what was coming, and he had no intention of dying. He slowly rounded the corner, sword drawn. What he saw amazed him. His jaw dropped open. Sparkles of magic dust lightened the sky, a blaze lighting up the sky. ![]() The place seemed to be coming alive. Suddenly, a dark shape moved. "I see you have found the way...", said Lacoste. Diamons raised his sword abruptly. "No need to worry, the next part isn't here. It's through there", he motioned, beckoning to the lights. "It's a portal into a world known as Astra". "Astra?", Diamons questioned. "It's where the ordinary become supernatural. See ya around", he gave a dark laugh, and he leapt into the sky. His body disintigrated into the lights, and Lacoste was no more. Diamons looked at the lights once, and he knew what he had to do. He was not going to spend the rest of his life hiding. He took a run and jumped into the lights. His eyes closed, and everything became a dream... Last edited by Diamons; 06-30-2006 at 10:12 AM. |
