Default Favourite Authors/Books/Stories

Just wondering, who/what are your favs? Both on GunZFactor and the great outside.

To be honest, I only deem guobin2, Senvae, and Admiral's work worth stalking in here. In RL, I mostly read SW fiction, and have come across pro ones like Matthew Stover, Sean Stewart, and Karen Traviss. I highly recommend Traviss, she's the author of her own six-book trilogy called Wess'har and the Star Wars Republic Commando novel series.

I recommend these novels:
Star Wars Republic Commando: Hard Contact
Star Wars Republic Commando: Triple Zero
Star Wars Republic Commando: True Colors (All RepCom novels demand little SW background knowledge)
Star Wars: Yoda: Dark Rendezvous (this reads like an adventure novel)
Gentlemen and Players (very twisty)
Star Wars: Shatterpoint
Revenge of The Sith and Return of the Jedi novelizations
Anything by Roald Dahl (pretty damn imaginative)
And Dan Brown writes fast-paced thrillers as well. (Don't look to him for accuracy though.)

GunZFactor:
Fiery Lotus Series - Senvae
Everything that Admiral has posted (not GunZ-related though)
Forget It - guobin2 (if you like shorts)
Archrivals - Hobo_Bobo
And Kiedo's crap (if you can stomach it)

I know it's a pathetic list =( Just felt bored.

Reaves also wrote the Medstar series in conjunction with Steve Perry, I remember. I read Medstar II and it was fine.

In RL, my absolute favourites are:
-The Noughts and Crosses series
-Cherub series

On GZF:
-Guobin is great at decriptive writing! =D
-Wixern!!!!! (Read Fantasy Strike - I think it was) He knows how to use humour.

Sadly, I haven't read Senvae and Admiral's works, as I have been very busy in the RL world, like usual.

Most of them stink, actually. Labyrinth of Evil stinks, Ep I-II novels stink, James Luceno stinks, Legacy of the Force stinks, New Jedi Order stinks. I'm not even taking into account those mini-stories.

I haven't read very many but I liked all of the ones I read.

Alot of them seem to be more directed towards children

The thin, "lol Jedi Apprentice" ones, yes. For the novels, no excuse. Only deranged children like me would read novels anyway.

Lol, I'm only interested in Fantasy and the Supernatural Realistic Fiction.

Mostly i read only Dragonlance Series, the tales of The Majeres and their descendants. O.o

On GZF: I used to read scroll dynasty but Nosy told us it was all sham.
Fiery Lotus Rox my fuxing sox. And I tried Keido's fast forwarding story but failed after the second sentence.
Wixern is pretty good too.
GTDRPG: Of angels and Demons and The Machine Campaigns or whatever you call it, is interesting.

XD.

Sadly, I have to say I never read anything on GZF. I usually don't even bother reading my own work (it scares me to look at things which I know I can improve on a lot more.)

Otherwise, I love Terry Pratchett's Discworld series. Perfect use of humor combined with moralistic undertones. I have read all of his books at least twice. It's really good stuff, I recommend it to everyone who likes fantasy.
