pressing start but nothing happens

heres my m-log, i pressed start game and then
x-trap comes up and gunz will apear on my start bar for 1/2 of a secound and then close

GUNZ 1,0,0,290 launched. build (Sep 27 2006 16:27:18)

Hello Kalinco,

It appears GunZ is A) not recognizing your video output, or B) you are using onboard video and will not be able to run GunZ.

Since you have a Radeon card, visit www.ati.com and download drivers for your product.

If you need more help, or don't know which drivers to download, please reply to this post. If not, have a nice day.

I am having the same problem guys, I click on Start game and the GunZ launcher just closes, after like 2 seconds as if the gunz.exe would of loaded next.

gunz has worked on my laptop before, i have a hp pavillion zv5000

Make sure everything is close to these
OS Windows 98, Windows XP, Windows 2000
DirectX DirectX 9.0c or above

iam not sure what graphics card i have but i know i meet everything eles and i have palyed gunz on this computer before...

Do you have a firewall or anything that would block it from activating? Xtrap may also be detecting something that is causing the game to close right away, but that could be a long shot. I have seen a few cases were someone had a program that made everything get approval before allowing it to go through and if it did not get approval then it was closed.

It has nothing to do with your graphics card.
Just get your windows CD you dont need the serial and install the east-asian language pack. Really just do what i say. :P

Windows CD in:

start>controll panel>country settings>languages and then check the east-asian part it starts install after the install just play. :P

You can find what type of video card you are using by right clicking your desktop>properties>setting tab and should be right here

Also right clicking My Computer>Properties>Hardware(tab)>Device manager>Under Display adapters.

Just post your info and I can find you drivers from there with the link.

i have a ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9000/9100 IGP, i had gunz working on this computer a little over a month ago, so i dont get why its not working now...

i found what i think is the driver i need, but when i try and instal it says set to Standered VGA to install, anyone know what Standered VGA is?

NOTE: If you have windows ME or 98 you need to download both of the files (Download #1 and #2) in order to update your card. For the others, a single download will suffice.
