Very easy small question

Hi ppl, dunno where to put this but this seemed the best forum.. ehm what does it mean in ppl sigs like:
Lvl: 4x
3x

wtf is "4x", and what does it means when ppl say "10 chars" or w/e.. it's a very "noob" question indeed, but I have no idea

4x means that their char level is 40-49. 10chars is used when you want to post something short and the min 10 character rule doesn`t allow it.
