| Newbie | Hi, i have been playing gunz for a good year now, and been enjoying my time playing. Until very recently, i have had no technical errors or problems with the game, other than servers not showing up back in fall and early winter of '05. For about the last week, GunZ has been acting up, however, and i will try to explain my problem the best i can. I'm running GunZ on x64 version of Windows XP, and on 32 bit on my other computer. I reinstalled GunZ at the same time on both of these computers, and they gave me the same problem at first, when trying to jump and dash or butterfly, it would put "invisible walls" in front of me, and not allow me to go forward until i completely stoped motion and tried again. Then one time while playing on my 64bit version of Windows, i found that i had "speed hacks" and could fly, yet i've never installed any on any computer and am strongly against cheating. I decided to re-install the game from both fileplanet and torrenting, yet every time, I am stopped at the login screen. By stopped, i mean the game just stops, and closes. I have noticed that X-trap doesn't appear to start, and that there is no build date on the initial loading screen right before the login screen. I just want to play Gunz, i wish i hadn't decided to re-install and just lived with the invisible walls, because i could at least login then. Any help would be appreciated. |

![]() | hmmm about you having the hack you never downloaded. i have heard tales of hackers hacking people and inserting hacks on theere computer to frame them in an attempt to get them banned for hacking. that might have hapened to you. ok now as far as the build date showing on the loading screen dont worry idont have it either i think they forget to put it back when they did there last patch. also i would suggest checking to mae sure that your graphics card is fully updated. i know that can cause a very similer problem. other then that i dont know what to say. i will think about it thougha nd if i come up with anything i will be sure to let you know. |

![]() | Well, that really sucks but hey maybe I'll see you on JGunz! Lol, hopefully not. The only advice I can give (Which I'm really dissapointed I can only give you this) is to download gunz from another mirror, megaupload.com or get it from one of your friends via e-mail or jumpdrive, etc. Note: Get the installer and not the files because I've tried running Gunz from my jumpdrive on a comp that doesnt have Gunz on it and it didnt work. |
