Server FIX problem Please help!

Hey -
I know there are server fix pro's out there so if anybody of you know what's wrong, please help!

Well, this is a problem that's different from the one's mentioned in the sticky'd serverfix thread

Basically, the server fix works fine on my computer, but on my roomates computer it won't work at all

He used winrar to extract it to his gunz folder, double clicked gunzlauncher

It opens fine, but when he clicks 'START GAME' the gunz window dissapears...


and that's it
nothing happens
except maybe some frowns on our side.

So, we've tried this several times and it doesn't work. When we remove the .dll GUnz program opens but no servers are displayed..(which is why we dl'ed serverfix in the first place)

We also disabled Norton Internet SEcurity which blocks PushAd's fix (on my computer anyway)

when disabled, the fix works fine (for me)

Its weird that it works fine for me but not for him. We're both directly connected to the internet on campus. No routers and whatnot.



Very annoying ! I want to pwn him.

Anybody who's had the same problem or knows what's up, please help out
