My friend is LD to me, but everyone else isn't..

I can't see the movement of my friend (we play in the same house connected through the same router) and he has the "Connection problem" thing over his head all the time, and so do I to him, yet I can see everyone else moving and jumping around just fine and so can he.

So I was wondering if anyone has a real solution to this? I'm sure this has been posted ALOT before, and for that I'm sorry, but I really need help here.
