| Newbie | This has been happening for quite some time. I've downloaded the full installation pack, (plus update pack), installed both, but everytime I click on 'Start Game', it closes on itself. This is the mlog as follows: GUNZ 1,0,0,290 launched. build (Jul 25 2006 14:24:36) Log time (08/07/06 14:35:26) test.txt not found NON-Skip XTrapPatch CPU ID = GenuineIntel ( family = 15 , model = 3 , stepping = 3 ) @ 2813 MHz Display Device = ( vendor=0 device=0 subsys=0 revision=0 ) Display Driver Version = 5.1.2600.0000 Windows = 5.1 Build 2600 , (1048044KB) : Windows xp.. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Meiling, I cant see what your graphic card info in the log. May I know what windows version, directx version, computer spec you are using to run gunz? If can, try disabling all the antivirus, firewall, antispyware, and connect your computer directly to the modem instead of through the router to test out again. |

| Newbie | Well, here are my specs (hope it's everything) OS: Windows XP Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-8IPE1000-G CPU: Intel Pentium 4, 2800 MHz (14 x 200) Soundcard: Realtek AC97 Audio Videocard: nVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 Ram: 1024 MB I'm pretty sure I don't have a modem, just an ADSL router. My cousin's got the same router, and it works for him. Not sure. Tried to disable all the stuff, but I still can't get in! ... sigh. |

![]() | You need to download DirectX9.0. You also need to find something with a vertex shader. I never had this problem except when trying to download Gunz onto the school computers. (Yes, I'm a bad person.) |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Meiling your windows xp version is what version like first version, service pack 1 or service pack 2, and also your directx version, is it directx 9.0c? And also run dxdiag to do a directx display and sound diagnostic to made sure its running fine. As for drivers for nvidia, the newest version doesnt mean it work fine on every computer. |

![]() | It's a problem with your video card. I'm sure GunZ is compatible with everything but if you have a program like sysmetrix/windowblinds/object desktop, turn them off. |
