I have no clue whats going on, (DirX Prob?)

I dunno, yesterday, and even this morning, it was working perfectly fine. I quit GunZ for a little bit, to take a break ya'know... Watched some anime and TV and ate, well, you didn't need to know that but I thought I'd explain everything that happened. Anyway, So, While watching T.V. I get bored... I turn on my computer screen and I see a box that says the computer needs to restart due to an update. I'm like "Pshh, w/e the f***" And I ignore it. I came up again 10 minutes later While playing a game called "FlyFF" (Note: FlyFF also uses DirectX 9.0C, thats why I think its a DirX Problem) and the box pops up again and stops my game, I die... lose 5% of my hardly earned XP and yeah. So I get angry and restart the computer....

Here's the thing though.

Ok, I say restart now, the system 'Updates', and the computer turns off... I turn it back on and let it load. It took a little longer that it normally would to start up so i knew something was up. (Takes normally 2 minutes to start, it was 15 minutes this time.) Ok, I'm confused by this and open FlyFF... Patcher starts and Gameguard Has problems, Restarted the game and let it sit for 12 min, which is TOTALLY out of the ordanary. I look at the computer screen and I say, "Where the **** (Pardon me) is the game!" Its a 'Pixel-like' Barage of colors, nothing that would make sense to any normal person. I cant read anything on the screen, much less navigate the mouse! I restart my computer again, frustrated, knowing SOMETHING is wrong (...). Computer takes 15 min to start again... and this time I run GunZ, patcher runs through as normal and yadayada, the game opens and the same thing happens with GunZ as with FlyFF! The pixilated 'Shyt' and can't make out nothing...

(Is that enough Info to fix it?)

Any suggestions?

So you're having big colorful graphics crazies?
This smells like a video card problem, but that's just the opinion of an amateur.

Also, FlyFF bores me to tears. <_<

GFX? I havent Upgraded my GFXcrd in a while... Its an Nvidia Geforce4 GFX with the latest update and I havent touched the driver in... well, since I got it. I don't see how it's a GFXcrd problem...

I'm just saying it sounds like a Vcard problem. Try going to the manufacturer's websites for all of your hardware and getting the latest drivers. It sounds like that update might've skewed some things.

Maybe I can do a system roll back to the verson of the software that I am currently using? I was just looking all over the internet and I saw this...

Are you in a hot attic or something? Maybe you don't have AC in your house? It sounds like your video card is over heating. Open up your case and stick a big box fan in front of it. Then try running it GunZ again.

If it doesn't go back to normal then check your connections. Make sure the cable going from your video card to your monitor didn't get knocked out of place or something.

Ideally, you should pop in another video card to test.

Try that out and let me know what happens.

I don't have access to the inside of my computer, due to a steel casing and uhm... yeah. Also, I dont really have another VideoCard.

BTW: The restore point did not fix the problem...

So you un-screw the screws (using a screw-driver) and take the, *cough*, steel casing off.

It does sound like your video card is over-heating to me and/or dead.

i have a serious problem ive been playing guns for a minute. well one day i decided to play and I open the laucher the files did work and it went to gunz but i didnt know so i dropped my laptop and it pressed alt-tab anf minimized gunz i thought the laucher never came up so I opened it again when i opened it and it told me to start game i saw the other gunz so i unminimized so basically i torrented files twice. I open the first one and started the game i logged in and when it show my character it looked totally different this time it had detail to it. when i first played gunz my character had no detail i could not see his face his clothes looked glitchy and it was all pale but sine it was in beta version i thought it was supposed to be like that but when i saw this he had detail i could see his eyes and everything. but when i played i lagged horribly so i closed the other laucher when i opened gunz it was back to the bland undetailed character. I then realized that i can only see the details when i torrent files twice and leave both opened at the same time. but when i do this it makes my ping go reallly high and i get kicked out of games alot someone PLEASE HELP ME!
