Computer problems

I just recently got a new computer, and have been experiencing major fps spikes in any game I play. If I hold down any key for too long, my entire computer will freeze. for most games, you have to hold down keys to move around or whatnot, so it's impossible to play any game. also, if i unplug the power cord of my computer and plug it back in, my computer will turn on/off repeatedly, and I have to take the case off and replace the bios chip thing for 10 seconds, then put it back. when I start it up afterwords, it gives me some error, and says press f2 to continue in default settings, so I do. I just got the computer a couple days ago; 9800 gtx+, amd 9850 quad-core, 2gb of ram, etc. also, my firewall, whether being on or off, blocks msn for some reason. any idea how to fix either problem?

Maybe its the stuff you have in your comp, maybe its too power much for your computer.
