Lag problem

Ok I decided to play this again today and well no matter what room I go into the pings are always low when i'm dead and high when I'm playing. I'm on the entry channel if that helps in solving the problem. I have nothing running in the background that I know of. I used to be able run my media player with out mmy ping going over 100 but now if I do I usually hit the 1k ping mark. Now this problem just started today so I dunno if its because I just started playing again or if its something else. So any help on this would be appreciated.

Also I ran a virus scan and a spyware scan and both found nothing. I also don't have a firewall.

I fixed my agent errors (Netgear WGR614 v6)

I don't use a router so I don't see how it can help me.

...lol That was a waste of time posting that i suppose. bummer.

Also i have no clue what could be causing your lag. Maybe other programs that are running?

If you read my first post carefully I said I have no other programs running.
