Default Gunz lag not so obvious

Good afternoon,

I have a computer I got from a friend here are the specs.

AMD Athlon XP 2400+ CPU =2.0ghz
1gb DDR333mhz PC2700
FX 5200 AGP 4/8x 128mb graphics card
Sound blaster sound card creative labs value
USB mouse/keyboard
40gb hard drive seagate
Windows XP Pro sp2
19'' crt

IT IS NOT MY INTERNET OR ROUTER.

Problem: When I am in gunz I had ghosting, and also my animations would lag.

Solutions tried:
Changed monitor refresh rate to 75mhz fixed ghosting, NO GHOSTING NOW.
Overclocked my graphics card to 310/533, from 200/400, and changed quality settings to high performance.

Let me know what you think, currently I am testing out ram.

P.S: Thanks, and I have limited windows services running, and only programs that run are zonealarm firewall, AVG 8.0, and printer software, which I shut down printer software, and shutdown zonealarm, and lag is still the same.

I..... dunno. You should be able to play without any lag. That AMD processor is equivelent to a 2.4 ghz intel p4.

Maybe try installing newer drivers?
