Ok so I upgraded to Vista Ultimate [Gift4Help]

Every 30 seconds my fps drops to like 45 then another 30 seconds and it goes back up ..

It's horrible trying to play with fps like this!

any tips greatly appreciated ..

and gift to the actual problem solver

flame if u want and dont say uninstall Vista cus answer is no!

^Ya, Since its not happening on cod 4 or css .. Why gunz?

Only reason im playing is for my cw partner

Vista = not friendly.
CSS + Cod4 = programmed by real programmers who want it to work with unfriendly OS.

GunZ = programmed by morons. It's amazing it even works on computers.

run in xpp2, check ur cpu usage,, sometimes vistault has a svchost thats no nesseary running using like 30 - 90 % cpu it causes fps spike

try those if not, cant help you

NEVER touch a bit of vista software again.. install xp and use vista themes.

Turn off shader and go to lowest graphic settings. Also turn off user account control. Works fine for me <3 Also make sure to update graphic drivers.

You could be installing updates.

Mine does every 3 days or so.
And remember to run as admin.
