| Gunzfactorian | I'm not sure how serious this problem is, but it can't be good. A few days ago I got some spyware, which I manages to take care of but to do so I had to go into C:/WINDOWS/Config/csrss.exe and delete the file. As a result, the spyware is gone, but starting up my computer takes much longer than it used to. So, it would be great if anyone knows where I could download a genuine Windows XP Home csrss.exe, or if anyone could make a copy of theirs and upload it. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Well, for one, it wasn't bright deleting anything udner the windows directory. If you have anything like that in a windows folder and such (csrss is an system service), use Security Task Manager - Windows XP process viewer I'll get you that file soon though. x] Edit: On second thought, run a windows system repair, won't lose data, or you can at least do a system restore to the day before the spyware appeared. |

| Gunzfactorian | I've done the full scan, and it's gone completely. @Ryouko: I tried doing a system restore, but it won't let me restore it to any date before I got the spyware. And also, I can't find my Windows disk, so I can't do the repair install. |
