| Gunzfactorian | i bought one of these and tried putting in my dell dimension 2350. my friend said that the shiny metal park on the bottom looks like it has lines because you cut at the lines if it doesnt fit. so i carefully cut off the bottom so that it fit into 1 of the slot things in my computer. now it doesnt work. did i cut it wrong? id post pics, but no camera. is there anyway i can fix this? thanks for any help. |

It doesn't support it unfornately, I was planning to build mine up but I asked Dell if it was upgradable but wasn't. Need an AGP slot, which it doesn't have. Only reason I gave it to my girlfriend.

| Moderator | It depends on whether the card is AGP or PCI Express. The fact that you cut something really doesn't sound good. You probably destroyed your card. It either fits in the slot or it doesn't, in which case it's incompatible (can't put a PCI E card into an AGP slot, for instance). |

im guessing if you had a warranty you kinda voided it when doing that...and the problem is your motherboard not having a pci express slot

| Gunzfactorian Soldier | Never cut anything inside ur pc lol. It seems like your video card is either an Agp not fitting into a Pci-E, or video card is Pci-E not fitting into Agp, Etc. Buying a new pc would be the best idea, unless you want to fix your motherboard. 10k, wow. |

It worked fine. lol anywho, you probably cut it wrong or something.. EDIT: wait did you cut the video card? if so wtf u thinking. and uh... was the video card ever working on ur pc? if not then it proably not compatible for ur pc or u didnt install drivers or something properly.. all in all.
