What must i buy ( computer upgrade and parts ) to decrease the screen lag in gunz ? (fps)

uh how much does those better type of video card costs? i`m planning to buy it on my birthday : / btw how do i check which video card i`m using?

i`m not gonna install it by myself lol. ok back to topic how do i check what video card i`m using?

EDIT: another question (main one now) is higher or lower fps better? less screen lag = higher or lower fps
i`m kinda confused because i dont know whether i should make gunz have higher or lower fps to run better

if u have CCleaner program it will tell u on the top

ok i got the video card name Nvidia GeForce 7600 GT. anyone could tell me what are the graphic cards which are better than that and is priced and around 200~250 SGD (singapore dollars)

that graphics card is better than good for gunz but if you want better ones there are Nvidia GeForce 8600 AND 9800 of the same company can you post your computer specs please? If that is your graphics card then im pretty sure that its not your graphics card thats causing lagg [unless its damaged].

Defenately its not the video card , i got 128mb junk in my box and no lag at all.Maybe u need more ram memory ,but gunz goes smoothly even on 500.

You have no idea wtf your talking about. Video cards runs well if the pc is balanced. If you have a 9800 X2, and 128 Mb of RAM, this'll own your pc. I'd say, go with whatever will balance your pc.

Start > Run > Type in CMD > Type in Dxdiag > Display, to find you video card.

Just get a 7800 GS, that's pretty aight for a cheap price, especially running for gunz.

Don't get the 8600GT it's not much, if at all, better than the 7600GT. the 7600 is actually a pretty good card and can handle most games very well but if you want a noticeable upgrade get a 8800GTS/GT or 9600GT. Both can be bought for about $150 U.S. Dollars and I think thats at the lower end of your price range. Like darkrunner said, post the rest of your computer specs so we can see what the real problem is.

Idiots... Don't buy a new graphics card, you get more bang for the buck if you buy RAM or CPU. I got 700 FPS with a 7600gs.

i lol at u srsly i get 80-120 fps and i play good wow u complain about 200-250 fps -.-

Can You RUN It?

Select a random game, run the test, take screenshot and post it here. Most people don't even know what they're talking about. Talking about how you should upgrade your GFX card when they don't know what kind of CPU or how much RAM you have.

7600 should be fine for GunZ, I still use an ATI 9600 and it runs fine for me.
