FPS increase?

Well I have a laptop, my gfx card is an ATI Radeon 2400.

I ran Call of Duty 4 and only got like 60 fps(max).

Is there any way I can increase this? By deleting programs or something like that?

Below is some dxdiag info on my graphics card.

BTW I have 3 gigabytes of ram, and a AMD Turion Dual Core Processor. 2.2 ghz

even on gunz mine like 40 now i dont even play anymore cuz of it

idk, if it's your proccesor, go to task manager, click on the procceses tab, and set COD4.exe or something. Set the priority to high.

It's Fps Lag due to bad video card, setting priority wouldn't increase it much that it'll be noticeable. I recommend you getting an external video card, or buy a new computer.

It gives it more priority or something. Won't do anything if it's the gfx card. Only if it's the proccesing power.

1) Get a program which increases thread priority. OWS made one some time ago. Google it.
2) Overclock. Might be a little hard/impossible with a laptop.
3) Turn off anti-virus and **** like that.
4) Defrag your HDD.

i got both problems kinda procces and Nvidia 6100
