Default Looking to buy a headset/microphone

Hi people ^^

I'm looking to buy a new microphone for use in game and for chatting online in IM's such as WLM. I currently have a inbuilt microphone on my Logitech Quickcam Pro4400 but the quality is terrible, it picks up too much noise. I was hopping you guys might have some suggestions.

Price: my buget isaround 30GBP (Thats probably around 60USD). I could be flexible though.
Must be comfortable even over long periods.
Quality of the microphone is important, it needs to be clear and noise filtering.
It doesn't have to have headphones, but it might be a bonus.

I'd also like to know how much control over output of sound you can get with headsets. For example would I be able to keep conversations comming through the headset and still have my gaming sound/music coming from my PC speakers?

Thanks, in advance. There is of course +rep involved.

Thanks, i'm looking at both of these right now. What about logitech?

EDIT: Do USB have any advantages/disadvantages, other than only having one cable?

EDIT: Sennheiser seem to have a good reputation and get very good reviews, although a little more expensive than TRUST. The PC 161 or PC 166 look very good.

TRUST i simply can't find any decent reviews of there headsets, althought there a nice price and look very good, so im tending to avoid them.

Logitech don't seem to deliever with headsets, im suprised as they usually do a very good job with there other products.

I'd go for Sennheiser over a Logitech anytime of the year.

SteelSeries 5Hv2 non USB

BEST!

SUPER Comfortable, even over long using periods, clear mic and very nice sound transmission!

Using it for Counter Strike, which is a game where sound-playing is essential!

Thanks for your feedback guys, I've decided to go for the Sennheiser PC 161, it gets very good reviews, also Sennheiser have a good reputation for audio equipment from what i've seen and the price seems reasonable.

Just in case anyone else is looking to buy a headet, here was my take on things when i checked out these products.

I did look at the logitech ones, as I've had good experiences in the past with their products. Looking at reviews, from places not trying to sell them, they don't seem to come up to the same standard for the price.

SteelSeries although have great reviews are a little more than I want to pay at $100 (about £50).

TRUST are a great brand and make lots of cheap and quality products, although im sure some of there headphones are exelent the lack of reviews made me stear clear for something such as headphones which varry in quality and comfort so much.

Now to dish out the +Rep

I will be XD, and i don't consider it wasting.

I'm not a big spender, so when i buy something like this i don't mind splashing out a little. It's like retail therapy ;p.
