Built ownage computer..

Well I am pretty happy with my custom built computer.. I suck at the hardware/wire stuff so it took me 9 hrs from opening boxes till vista was installed.

Old computers fps during 4vs4 on 640x480 with lowest graphic settings was.. 50 to 70 fps..

New computer fp sduring 4vs4 on biggest resolution with best graphics is.. 1000 to 1200 fps..

I love how the gun loading bar thing use to take me 30 seconds with my old computer.. (and 5 minutes with my even older one). Now it only takes 1-2 seconds for whole thing to completely load after I do the play live thing and gunz opens..

If you have played with me you probably have seen me whining about fps lag every 15-20 seconds in a game lol. And... also have made around 25 topics about fps lag on my 2 gunzfactor forum accounts trying to fix it.

Saturday my other computer just stopped working.. so ordered new parts to build a computer. Yay for me...

i have a little less than smilingsoul in some.. my computer cost 970 (with vista, keyboard, and mouse counted there also)

only thing i didnt buy though was a monitor.. game feels ALOT different playing gunz.. reload seems to take longer, i stay in air longer while flying, if i press a key my character actually does what i tell it to.. lol, and no freezes

but.. i do have some problems i think cuz of driver not updated or something.. when i jump the smoke stuff from ground dust or whatever doesnt look normal.. and playing with really low fps for so long has made me learn to time every single move from my old computer.. my double bf success % for example on new computer is like.. 30% meaning 3 out of 10 times i wont mess up timing is really a problem right now lol but eventually i will learn this new timing and should be alot better now that my character responds 100% of the time :/ and also I love being able to play more than a 1vs1 without fps lag.. havent tried 16 players yet will try today

O.o ur one of those ppl that cmplain about low fps

my fps is 90 and i play kinda normally

would love a cpu nice as urs is now
