the best CPU for gunz

i want to play gunz in a very fast computer and no lagg..
can u tell me what CPU best suit gunz

depepnds on what your motherboard can take, intel or AMD. if it's intel, this is the best bang for the buck atm (quad core Q6600), since if you go for the 'extreme' processors, it's absurdly expensive.

Go with AMD if you can. 2x calc per clock cycle. Also, buy more RAM.

Oh hell no. That processor is too overpowered, more of going towards the Crysis gameplay. I suggest not going for the "Best" for Gunz, but the more a little advanced. Try the E8200, its a duo core but it runs smoother than the Q6600.

I'm guessing you don't know a lot about PC specs by the nature of your question so before you think about buying, consider.

Are you simply planning to upgrade your current PC? If so you might need to consider the type of socket your motherboard uses to seat your CPU.

Whats your buget?

Whats the rest of your PC hardware like? Simply upgrading the CPU does not garantee better performance, if you don't have enough ram for example you can get a bottle neck in the system.

Thats just a few points, I sugest you do some research about what facotrs you need to consider before commiting any money. For this i suggest a search engine, like teh googletron.

check it out dont listen to these clOWns buy a nice dell compUTer i got 1gb ram 3.0 ghz or some sht dell5100 what ever that is and a dell monitor with what grahpic card i dont even know... . . .. . its a average computer and i can run gunz full settings with some programs on the side withouth lag i can play 16 man bezerker have music and vent playing with max settings while i have double rocket and wont have lag HEHE
