Am I an idiot or is something wrong?

Well, hay there. I just downloaded Gunz. Installed, okay. Click on the installed icon. All I get is "GunzLauncher Update Failed".

I read the sticky. I find it ridiculously confusing and it has not helped me. Halp please?

Well, your first problem is having a username of a second-rate comedian. :-P

But seriously, check to make sure your firewall isn't blocking Gunz.exe and Gunzlauncher.exe.

The problem here is not your firewall.

To clarify, your saying you click the setup file and it gives you that error? If at all possible, screenshot the error and show it to me in your next reply.

First, you're not an idiot.

Second, if the launcher update fails then there is a defective file in your update, try to: 1) Redownload it, 2) If that doesn't work try to find the update on a separate file, download and install.

Disable firewall. if that doesn't work, disable virus protection.

Then if ether of those don't work, reinstall and keep trying?
