999 Ping (NAT Error I believe)

Well, first of all, I'm connected directly from my modem. It's a simple modem, no built in router, or anything, so I can't port forward.

I installed Ijji Gunz yesterday, and was able to play perfectly, I even gained 2 levels. I exited Gunz and went out with my friends. I came back in about 5 hours and tried playing Gunz, but I got the 999 Ping error. I tried turning off my firewall and shutting my anti-virus. I also re-installed and I got nothing.
Is there a solution for this?

Spyware, viruses? adware or malware? all those could block of connection depending how bad they are. I'd do a scan in case.

I would also delete out all the temp files.

Start> Run> type in %temp%

Do a virus scan first then do what orgy told you.
