| Member | Well I posted in other topics but just to add more info and focus toward my problem, I want to make a topic, just for the sake of having a small ray of hope... Anyway, my brother and I both have Gunz on our computers. He and I can both play others without any problems. Now, when we play in the same room together however, both of our characters are inside of eachother. Similar to the elevator glitch people perform. Now on my computer, if I do anything in battle, his character will perform the same thing, as if I am controlling both characters. Although, on my screen, his character is where I am exactly, on his screen, I am where he is, at a different location. Say I am in the basement, and he is on a staircase. On my screen he will be with me, in me, inside the basement. On his screen, I am with him, on the staircase, inside him. We can never see eachother's "cloned characters" though on our screen. We do not get a "NAT" or "Agent Error" message with eachother at all. We play Ijji Gunz. We both have 0-10 ping with eachother. I have set both computers for different ports. and port forwarded both. 7700-7800 and 7600-7699 and many other combos we tried. We also tried upgrading our Netgear Router to the latest firmware; did not work. We also did different static IP's for our computers, both having their own. We also tried port triggering, but I am not so sure we did that one right. I say this because I can see it happening. I doubt anyone will actually solve it or take the time to read this though. If you do, thank you. Please help us in anyway. | Member | If you don't have anything to offer, please don't post. Cause what you are stating is like me going to get a drink if I am thirsty. If you don't know what you're talking about, don't bring suggestions as if you know em and think "this must be a solution" Ijji would not help, their forums aren't helping, and I asked all the computer experts I know online and offline. Next step is the forums. Now I know this is rude, but please don't reply back. Last edited by logme; 11-18-2007 at 04:14 PM. |

I am all about not posting if I haven't the slightest clue; but, I did want to point out that there is a very large possibility the game cannot do what you are trying. While you may have done all the IP setting, port forwarding, etc. The game/their servers may be unable to send back 2 different signals to each computer correctly. Essentially, you both get each others packets as your own. Here is what many Ijji users claim worked for them, but keep in mind if you are using Igunz it may not be possible: Portfoward 2 Computers Through The Same Router!!!!!!! - ijji Forums | |
