Cant play Gunz

Ok i'll explain out as detailed as possible
I used to play GunZ about a year ago, i have a new computer since then..
I've been on the GunZ website and downloaded the english client (International)
let the loader torrent the files..
after that, Clicked start game, and it goes to a black screen for a second or two, and then returns back to the desktop..
It may be a gfx problem, or directx, i've tried alot
any help would be REALLY grateful, its really starting to bug me
