Im consider an upgrade. I need advice.

Im thinking of upgrading my computer. Its either a mainboard and graphic card upgrade or a mainboard/memory/processor/graphic card upgrade or mainboard/processor/graphic card upgrade.

Theres news on a new midrange card from nvidia launching at the end of this month and ATI/AMD launching a new graphic card next month I think.

The cheapest upgrade is a mainboard and graphic card but I cant find any mainboard that I can use/like for my cpu in my area anymore.
(Still searching).

The next option is either mainboard/processor/memory/graphic card upgrade or mainboard/processor/graphi card upgrade.

If I choose AMD AM2, I''ll have to sacrifice my 2GB DDR400 rams.

But if I choose Intel Core2, I can use a VIA mainboard and retain my memory.

AMD AM2 S940 upgrade does sound nice but its future is bleak. I mean I will have problems hunting this type of mainboard in 1 year time.

On the other hand, if I stick with Intel S775, I'll still be able to find this type of mainboard next year.

Should I wait for the nvidia/ati new launch to stabilize next month before I consider my upgrade?

I hate playing Wolfteam in cybercafe since playing at home I always get freeze in game.

Playing gunz/kartrider isnt a problem but playing driftcity and wolfteam are a big problem for me.

BTW, I notice online, good older models ati cards are dump at discounted price like less than RM200 like ATI 1600PRO 256MB or even ATI 800GTO 256MB PCIe. Its a good bargain since these cards usually cost more than RM300.

As for Nvidia, sadly no such luck. Only 8400/8500 graphic prices dropping but not 7600 graphic PCIe cards.

Suggestion and advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
