Default [LIL QUESTION]ATI GFX-CARD / Tripple Buffering?

Hi Guys,

Could somebody try to explain me for what "Tripple Buffering" and "Force 24 Bit Z-Buffer Depth" is?

and @ Direct3D Settings:

Alternate Pixel Center..

Is gunz a Direct3D game or OpenGL? (I know @ Counter Strike i can switch btw OpenGL and D3D..but GunZ..)

Should i activate one of that options to make gunz run better?
No i got no fps lags. i got like 650 fps in gunz.

Resolution @ 1440*900 everything @ High 32bit.

all you need to know :



You have a fux pro pc, 600 fps is pro, most noobs who play this game have around 80-120

the higher the better

if i use that resolution (my real res) i get like 90 fps, if i use 600x480 i get 250+

you try it i bet you get 999

I am pretty sure Gunz is a Direct 3d game. Your computer is capable of running both Direct 3d and Open GL. They are both always enabled, and a program will automatically use the one it uses.

Ok thanks guys, ill just let everything like it is..since i didn't get a answer what "Tripple Buffering" ; "Force 24 Bit Z-Buffer Depth" and Alternate Pixel Center is or makes and everything is working fine anyway...

Triple Buffer: Triple buffering - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Z-Buffer:

The higher the resolution the better it is, so enabling trible buffer would help improve and it probably does use more memory.

Talking about fps...

Anyone here know whats the most i can get with Archetypes config, 512 mb, and a integrated gfx card? Remember integrated gfx card are like so ghey you wont see a difference if you play without it thats how much they suck XD

But i saw in a post that you can run Gunz fine with an integrated gfx card o.o
