| Newbie | First question: Can gunz be run on a dial up connection (45kbps)? If the answer the the first question is yes: Can it be burned to a CD? You may see my problem. A friend has been raving about Gunz, but I'm stuck wiht dial up, and I want to know if he can burn if for me. Thanks in advance. |

| Gunzfactorian | If you DO decide to play gunz with dial-down, plz do not go into rooms with +4 (ok, maybe 8) ppl in it...your internet will 'splode and it will confuse and infuriate you. In 1v1s, my friend hit 96 ping with his crap (I think he has 56k. If he had 28.8k, I'd have told him to GTFO and never play again!!! >=D) |

| Gunzfactorian Hero | Pfft, if you have 200-300 ping with dial up. Your computer sucks. Alot of my friends run Gunz on dial up, with only 110 ping for me. It really depends on your computer. My advice, if you're going to run Gunz, don't run ANYTHING else, and you should be fine. And yes, it can be burnt to a disk. Put the installer onto the disk. |

.@ HowManyLicks: My computer does not suck! <_<. (Okay, it does suck, but that has nothing to do with this >_>.) What really sucked was my dial-up connection. I use a free ISP (no pay for internet <3), but it has its drawbacks. Sometimes, it's really busy and things are very slow. Anyway, like Licks pointed out, it can really depend on your ISP. But even so, it's not going to be great. I mean, dialup has really low bandwidth, so the problems really get worse as you play larger and larger games with more people. Add this onto the problem that even people with cable connections have with lag sometimes (and imagine two dialup people trying to play each other!), and the lag will be unbearable -_-;. And to answer your second question, Jake, sure Gunz can be burned to a CD. Why not? A word of warning, though. The install that you download at the Gunz official site is not the complete install with all the files. Running that will require you to torrent in all the files the first time you run it (which can be a >HUGE< pain in the ass -_-; ). So I'd recommend either searching for a complete install on this forum, or zipping up all your Gunz files inside your installation folder and installing them yourself manually :P.
