I have a centron ram card 1gb
Can i insert a buffallo 1gb with it?

I got 4 slots
im using one right now
ya yaik but can i use two dif brands?

Does it have the same specs as your other card?? If so it should work, besides there just brands. But don't trust me 100%

Do you have the links to the ram? "1 gig" inst very descriptive. There are many "1 gigs" there are SD (old) DDR (old) DD2 DDR3 (New) also, among thoughs physical differences there are also differences in there speed. So you have to have the SAME type of ram and the SAME speed.

If its the same type of Ram eg. pc2700 DDR Ram and both are that, the brand does not matter. I currently have a samsung 256mb stick and a 256mb stick from ebuyer and they work fine.

Just make sure they have the same spec and its fine.

example : if one is a 133mhz and the other one a 100mhz, both will work at a speed of 100mhz
so make sure it's the same speed.
