| Gunzfactorian Commando | Because Gameguard sucks causes FPS lags, gives random error logs and d/c people. I'm lucky enough not to have had trouble with GG as of yet apart from a little fps. Does it just d/c you or give you an error message. If you just get d/c from the server it could be due to poor internet connection or your firewall is blocking it, try allowing gunz.exe in your firewall or turning it off when playing. Does your whole game quit or you just get d/c?? Gamezman ~ |

| Gunzfactorian Patriot | Thanks for your reply. Firstly, my internet is very expensive per month and it is a very fast connection (Not going into too much detail but i can asure you it's very reliable). My firewall is allowing Gunz and i don't get any error messages. I suppose you could call it a DC/quit. What happens is when im browsing the lobby or changing weaps all of a sudden i get the so called "Server lag" but instead of correcting itself GunZ takes me back to the server screen showing NO servers. To correct this i need to pull out my USB connection from the internet and re-insert it. If it helps my internet/modem is a: 2Wire Gateway USB. |

| Gunzfactorian Patriot | I don't have an ethernet port, but i do have the things needed to install the ethernet connection (Even the cable). Unless i just can't find the port? (On the back of the PC? [It's not there]). Still needing help ![]() |

| Gunzfactorian Patriot | Yeah, I don't get why NAGunZ is like this now. I'll be in the middle of a game, and suddenly it becomes apparent to me that there is some manner of connection error, ranging from AE to everything, one-way AE to everything (receiving data from everyone, but not sending it to anyone), to just a sudden "^4Disconnected." Every time it happens, I look down at my router, and it's blinking shows me that it is trying to reconnect to the internet. Sometimes it manages to reconnect me before the server says I've timed out, but other times I'll get disconnected in the middle of, say, a Superion Quest. And half of the time that I get d/c, I get "^1Cannot Access Server" errors afterward regardless of what I try to do, always forcing me to restart GunZ. I blame ijji. I've never had my router randomly get d/c by any other application like this. |

![]() | Make sure thats its not a phone line used for dial-up. They are usually smaller then an Ethernet port and don't have the two little lights to the top corners of the pictures above. ![]() |

| Gunzfactorian Patriot | Well, merely using USB for your internet connection shouldn't be causing DC. Wikipedia says, "...often about 3 MB/s overall, sometimes up to 10-20 MB/s." That's plenty. If you still haven't disabled your firewall/s, I don't think it would hurt to just test a few games without them; I always keep mine offline these days. |
