Maus has a spectacular aura about.
Default God is still a mystery

We have been to space, we have been to the moon. Yet none of our astronauts ever happened to catch a glimpse of god out of their cabin windows. Only aliens.

Fact: The probability of Alien life forms existing far outweighs the probability of some floating omnipresent diety that sees and possibly controls everything that has ever and will ever happen.

We should worship the aliens as our gods. Strip naked now, I'll get the paste ready.

Maus wants to say, if the existance of aliens is real then is it the same with God? Because nothing stated in every reference about outside lifeform other than those in Earth that was created by Him.

But, meh.. As I said, too much Holly-wolly-wood

Ok, lets humor the idea that there is a God.

Quote:
If hes floating somewhere in the atmosphere, wouldn't that mean he is bound by space and time. So if he is bound by space and time, then how is it possible for him to create the cosmos?? And why havn't we seen him yet??
This arguement is one of the common fallicies in the debate whether God is real

Cuz if God created the universe, wouldn't it make more sense that he is not bound by its laws? You can use a simply analogy with that: If you make a boat inside a bottle then put ants in it, would it be logical for the ants to assume you did not make the boat since your not physically there present with them? Would it make sense that they deduct that the boat was a form of accidental parts inside a bottle being stirred up and suddently there was a boat? Shouldn't the complexity in the design of the boat be enough for these ants to conclude that something smarter and greater than them created the boat?

Ponder on that for a second.

No, but there is a way to prove the concept of 'God' So unlikely that anyone brought up in a modern society would scoff at the idea.

I admit, there could be a god. But if there was he would be bound by the same laws we are. Ever see that episode of futurama where 'god' is actually a group of small nebulas formed into a concious mind? That is possible... but likely? meh.

Read what I said about the ants in a bottle. God cannot be bound by his creation, its like trying to fit the potter into a pot he made.

Lol atheists still have not proven that God does not exist. All they have done is say God doesn't exist because he doesn't conform to our idea on how he should act.

Great comparison, but it still doesn't change the fact that the existence of God is just an empty statement taken more or less out of the blue (depends if you believe what's written in the bible or not). While it can't be proven or disproven, it's still like me saying "I created the universe, you can't prove me wrong, therefore I'm correct!"

I have no reason to believe in God based on a book written years ago, and I won't start believing until he materialize in front of me and punches me in the face.
It's up to everyone to make their own decision, and it's completely pointless to discuss it.
