You may or may not of heard of this before...

Why is it, when males have a lot of sex they are called "players" and its generally considered a positive thing, but when females have a lot of sex, they are considered "Sluts" and its generally a negative thing?

Lol.It might be positive for you.But others don't like it.It's almost like for us males attracted to each other and take the next set in a relationship.Many people get beat for be bi,gay,or lesibians.I know because I was one of them who beat them up.

When males have a lot of sex, they are called man-whores. Its generally considered a negative thing, and when females have a lot of sex, they are considered "sluts" which is an equally negative thing.

Guys who sleep around are called man-whores and gigalos, sometime dog's as well. In fact, I see more girls calling other girls whores or sluts than guys.

many of you seem to be in agreement here. though i must point out general media. take the new axe commercials. "boost your extra sexual perception." The media (which much if not all of our culture (unfortunately) is reflected) portrays having lots of sex as a positive thing, especially with women who are not realistically proportioned in both the chest and waist areas. >_>

As for the term Man-Whore, i have not as of yet heard this term used. The word "player" (not to be racist, just saying what i see) is especially prominent in african american culture. in fact i brought up this same topic with a few of my black friends. they diddnt really knonw what to say either.
